Ruby Gillman Teenage Kraken (2023)

Shy teenager Ruby Gillman just wants to fit in at high school, but she is hiding a big family secret: she is descended from a line of warrior kraken queens who rule the oceans. When she breaks her mother's one rule and goes into the sea, her true, very large nature emerges. DreamWorks' colourful coming-of-age comedy is full of charm.

Directed by Kirk DeMicco · Starring Lana Condor, Toni Collette, Jane Fonda
